Jason Carr

Jason Carr

Jason's background is in media and marketing but has always had a keen interest in racing. He has had many business ideas over the years, www.fromthestables.com being one of them nearly five years ago which has gone from strength to strength since it's launch.

Ownership came later and he feels that there is no feeling like having a winner that you own and that feeling has been the same for all 14 winners to date.

Favourite horse: Dancing Brave
Favourite course: Ascot

Ian Martin

Ian Martin

Ian's first experience of horse racing was on Saturday afternoons watching the day's coverage with his Dad. When he picked a horse to cheer on, his system was basic, but time and time again he'd pick the winner – he'd simply go for the one that Lester Piggott was riding! The Long Fellow was simply the best.

He feels that to now be involved in horse racing is brilliant and the thrill of being part of a winner is an amazing feeling that all the principles want to share with as many people as possible. And in doing so, meet some fantastic people who never thought they'd become racehorse owners let alone be in the winner's enclosure. He looks forward to keeping this winning track record going.

Ambitions for the syndicate:

  1. To have as many winners as possible!
  2. Have a runner/winner at the Cheltenham Festival
  3. Group winning flat horse

Favourite horse: Free Zone
Favourite course: Chester

Neil Coster

Neil Coster

Neil first got involved in racing when his elder brother placed a Yankee for him when he was 13, three winners later he was hooked!

He has worked in information technology for major organisations including Cisco Systems and BT.

His passion for horse racing saw him team up with the From The Stables team in 2011 when he started the syndicate side of the business.

Favourite Horse: Dancing Brave "I was lucky enough to be at Longchamp to see him destroy a very good Arc field in 1986."
Favourite Course: Kelso "We had a runner there recently and despite the horse not running well, we were treated like royalty and I look forward to visiting again hopefully with a different result!"

Graham Larby

Graham Larby

Graham's first memory of horse racing is of Red Rum winning three Grand Nationals in the 1970s, which, looking back, is when he became really interested in horse racing and the enjoyment it can bring.

In those early days he never envisaged that one day he would be an owner. The first horse he was involved in was only ever placed twice in his career but just being part of the race day atmosphere as an owner really spurred him on to wanting to own a winning racehorse. This he achieved firstly with Pete the Feat who he owns with a friend of his and he has had them, to date, in the winning enclosure on nine occasions.

However since then he has been involved in four horses as a member of a syndicate and has learnt this is a more cost effective way of being involved in owning a racehorse and still getting the same thrill when the horse wins. His ambition is to share his passion for racing with our syndicate members so they experience as much enjoyment out of their race horse as possible.

Favourite horse: Red Rum for the reasons above.
Favourite course: Fontwell where I had my first experience of being a winning owner and that memory will never be forgotten.
