After a short riding career in which he rode a few winners for Josh Gifford, Lady Herries and David Gandolfo, Warren then worked as Head Lad for Bryan Smart where they had a successful time together before Bryan moved to Thirsk.
He was then approached by Oliver Sherwood to work as his Head Lad and later Assistant Trainer. Warren and Oliver worked well together and they steadily built up Oliver’s string again.
After seven years with Oliver, Warren was head hunted by Malcolm Denmark as a salaried Trainer at Weathercock House where he spent three years training successfully and progressing each season. Charles Egerton then bought Uplands and approached Warren offering him the top yard to train from in his own right where he has been since July 2012.
